Emotional wellness involves an awareness and acceptance of your feelings. It is being able to express and manage your feelings, develop positive self-esteem, and make personal decisions by combining your behaviour and attitude towards a particular situation with rational thought.
The Counselling Centre offers various workshops and events throughout the year to help you develop the skills to manage your emotions and to provide the opportunity for breaks during high-stress times. Check out Paws Your Stress, a regularly held event during which you can engage and relax with a therapy dog.
