This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to automotive drive-lines and differentials. Both theoretical and practical instruction techniques will be used on various drive-line components that are required for a smooth power flow and provide differential action on the driving wheels. Identification, purpose, location, and operation of the various drive-line components will be covered during this semester. The students will also be introduced to the specialized tools and equipment required for testing, servicing, and adjustment of units.
