The student will receive training in approved aircraft hardware, ferrous & non- ferrous metals, corrosion prevention, corrosion detection, & corrosion cleaning.

A strong emphasis will be put on personal safety when working in an aircraft maintenance environment. The course will include various tools used in the aircraft industry including specialty tools, reading precision measuring tools, power tools, machine tools, and approved methods. The students will identify plumbing constructions used on aircraft of various systems (eg. hydraulics, pneumatics, & fuels.)
