Students will learn how real theatre companies work by completing a second shadowing placement. Students are encouraged to shadow at a different company than the company they shadowed in THEA-230, and/or to shadow a different role within the same company, such as actor, writer-in-residence, director, stage manager, lighting technician, etc. With separate opportunities to become familiar with the inner workings of a theatre company, students will be able to see first-hand the many paths that their careers in the theatre arts might take. As they progress, students are expected to share their experiences with the class.
