Description:

The retail industry is fundamental to the success of a fashion brand; selling product is the main priority of any designer or product developer. In this course, students will develop an understanding of daily store environment operations including effective selling techniques, clientele building, tracking sales, inventory maintenance, loss prevention strategies and visual merchandising principles. A focus on e-tail also allows students to realize the potential for online commerce with relation to global brand expansion.
