This course will provide an overview of the general cultural fit and expectations of the interactive media industry. Students will learn about the institutions and enterprises that are shaping interactive media today, and likewise about the socio-cultural conditions they impose.

Participants will be introduced to the various opportunities available to them within this field, and during the course students will learn about the industry through guest speakers and industry-relevant research. This will both serve as an introduction to the working environment, and allow them to seek initial networking opportunities.
