The new workforce demands effective written, oral and interpersonal business skills. This course is designed to meet the specific needs of the advertising business in a technologically advanced work world. There will be an emphasis on how we experience communication, persuasive writing, communicating a point of view, communicating through virtual teams and using technology to communicate. It will provide the student with the principles, tools and practice in writing effective business correspondence, contact reports, proposals and briefs, specific to an advertising/marketing environment. Presentation skills will also be emphasized.
