Students will learn how to develop a theory of their case, and how to prepare and present opening statements, examinations-in-chief, cross-examinations, and closing arguments. They will learn the advocacy techniques that they’ll need when appearing as paralegals before permitted courts and tribunals. An overview of courtroom procedure and etiquette, interviewing witnesses, and submissions as to costs are also covered in this course.
