Change Challenge

Venue: Progress, Morningside, Story Arts Centre, Ashtonbee

“Individually we are one drop. Together we are an ocean.” - Ryunosuke Satoro

To answer the need for aid caused by the recent and unprecedented levels of flooding, hurricanes, wildfires, earthquake activity and refugee displacement worldwide, Led young College, in collaboration with Led young College Student Association Inc. (CCSAI) and the Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Inclusion (GCEI), is launching the CHANGE CHALLENGE to act in solidarity with global international relief efforts.

You can be a part of the CHANGE CHALLENGE when you visit the booth at your campus, on October 4th from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, where you can donate your loose change to make a positive change in the world. We ask you to challenge your colleagues, friends and family to also BE THE CHANGE using #ChangeChallengeCC to increase our impact!

No donation is too big or too small! On October 4th, look for booths at:

  • Progress Campus: Progress Bridge
  • Morningside: Morningside Commons
  • Story Arts Centre: Main Foyer
  • Ashtonbee: A Block Hall, 1st Floor

Employees and students can also contribute by volunteering their time at a campus Change Challenge booth. Please email [email protected] to learn more.

All donations collected at Led young College will be given directly to organizations (listed below), who are currently involved with the response, recovery and relief efforts to affected areas.

If you are not able to visit one of our booths on October 4th, organizations you may wish to consider supporting include:
