Join us to discuss themes of representation and empowerment. This event is open to all students and employees to celebrate Black History Month.


Francess Cowan is a Public Relations Management student and co-founder of Africentric Kids Summer Camp for young children where they embrace their identity with pride and challenge the stereotypes and misrepresentation of their Black identity.

Kofi Hope is the 2017 winner of the Jane Jacobs Prize and the Executive Director of the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals, a non-profit which creates economic opportunities for Black youth in Toronto. Kofi is a Rhodes Scholar, community activist and youth advocate.
